Product Overview
This stainless steel door security bar fits on the inside of a swinging door to add a physical barrier against forced entry and unexpected opening. The solid crossbar spans doors up to 32 inches wide, and the 34-inch bar is suited to front doors, bedrooms, apartments, basements, offices and storage rooms.
The bar can be set up in three ways: complete lift-out removal, left-side pivot opening or right-side pivot opening, so you can choose the access direction that suits the door. Soft silicone contact pads sit between the bar and the door to help cushion contact, reduce rattling and impact noise, and limit direct metal-to-metal contact while keeping a secure fit.
Because the brace stays horizontal across the door, it does not need a long support pole extending into the room, so floor space near the door stays clear.
