This one-piece double strike plate replaces separate latch and deadbolt strike plates with a single reinforced fitting. The latch and bolt openings are slightly taller than standard, and the plate has two strike holes to suit locks with 5½-inch to 6-inch hole centres. Because it is a single piece, it spreads the load across more of the door jamb, and it is pre-drilled with nine screw holes, six of which take the supplied 3-inch extra-long screws. The polished finish gives it a clean, modern look.
