Product Overview

This window safety guard is a pressure-mounted barrier designed to help prevent children from falling through open windows. It is made from steel with a painted white finish, and the surfaces are smooth without burrs to reduce the risk of scratches. The guard has been tested to withstand 220 pounds of pressure and 110 pounds of impact. With a 2.68-inch gap between bars, it is designed so a child cannot fall through. The guard can be removed in an emergency by adjusting the tension of the bolts. It fits most styles of windows, including flat, fixed, bay, sliding and removable sliding windows, and is available in four sizes: 32.9″–35″ (1 panel), 20.5″–41.3″ (2 panels), 32.9″–61.4″ (2 panels) and 32.9″–94″ (3 panels). Installation is pressure-mounted with no drilling, so windows and walls are not damaged, and the guard can be mounted horizontally or vertically. The simple, smooth white design is intended to sit alongside existing room decoration without affecting the overall look.
