Kick Down Door Stop

Product Overview

This is a one-touch kickdown door stopper designed to hold a door open and stop it from closing unexpectedly. The stopper is made from aluminium alloy, so it is light in weight while remaining durable, and it has rubber tips that protect the floor and increase grip. It is positioned on the door panel and secured with screws, so fitting does not call for specialist tools or a professional fitter. Once in place, it can be kicked down with a foot to hold the door, which is useful when your hands are full with a child, a pet or shopping. It is a practical addition to busy households where doors are constantly being opened and closed.

Key Features

• One-touch kickdown operation: press the stopper down with your foot to hold the door open, without needing to bend or use your hands.
• Helps prevent doors from closing on fingers or paws, and reduces the chance of a door handle marking the wall.
• Aluminium alloy construction keeps the stopper lightweight but hard-wearing for everyday use.
• Rubber tips protect flooring and add friction so the door stays where you put it.
• Adjustable height button suits most standard and heavy-duty doors.
• Simple screw fitting: position on the door panel and secure with screws.

Suitable For

Households with young children or pets, where doors closing unexpectedly can be a worry. Also useful for anyone who regularly carries items through doorways, such as parents, carers or people bringing in shopping. Suitable for most standard and heavy-duty doors; for very large doors, a 6-inch version is recommended.

Care Information

Wipe the stopper with a damp cloth when needed and dry it afterwards. Check the screws occasionally and tighten them if the stopper becomes loose. Keep the rubber tips clean so they continue to grip the floor effectively.
